Missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki made two Venmo payments the afternoon before she vanished in the Dominican Republic, sending waves of intrigue as the search enters its second week.

The last time anyone saw Konanki was on the morning of March 6 at 5:50 a.m., walking along a beach with Iowa tourist Joshua Riibe, 24, at the RIU Hotel & Resort in Punta Cana.
Konanki had been staying at the resort since March 3 for spring break, joined by a group of friends—including Riibe, who was also staying at the same resort.
Earlier in the night, the two were caught on video, cuddling and strolling with a group of six.
At 4:15 a.m., they were seen walking arm-in-arm and taking selfies, giving a glimpse of their late-night behavior.
