Lil Tay broke OnlyFans record the minute she turned 18 and people are making a seriously disturbing point

Lil Tay broke an OnlyFans record as soon as she turned 18 and of legal age – and everyone is saying the same thing.

The internet personality and musician celebrated the milestone birthday on 29 July and shortly after announced she had signed up to the X-rated platform.

For those unfamiliar with who Lil Tay is, she rose to fame aged nine after jokey clips circulated social media of her bragging about her wealth.

In 2018, the young rapper shared controversial videos, inspired by trap, of her singing about her inordinate money.

She revealed today (4 August) that it took just two hours for 100,000 people to subscribe to her account.

The teen, real name Claire Tian, also claimed that she made a staggering $1,000,000 within the first three hours of her page being live.

Writing on Twitter and Instagram, she shared a screenshot for proof and penned: “Not bad for three hours. We broke the f**k out of that OnlyFans record.”

And Lil Tay of course has the freedom to make money in any way she sees fit, but the sheer number of people who rushed to subscribe as soon as she turned 18 has understandably left people feeling shocked.

One social media user penned: “Lil Tay launched an OnlyFans on her 18th birthday and made over $1 million in just 3 hours. OnlyFans must be banned.”

While a second agreed: “OnlyFans is detrimental to society” and a third wrote: “Anyone who spent money to send lil tay a message on OnlyFans should have their human rights stripped.”

“Get the bag but damn. That many men were waiting for you to turn 18,” someone else chimed in with.

“Whoever is paying y’all some f***ing creeps and weirdos,” wrote another.

“Imagine dudes counting down the minutes till she hit 18 just to sub… y’all need help fr,” another user added.

It isn’t the first time this controversial topic has come up online and a few years ago rapper Bhad Bhabie agreed that people who joined her OnlyFans the minute she turned 18 years old should be in jail.

Now 22, Bhad Bhabie – real name Danielle Bregoli – similarly rose to fame at a young age at just 13 following her explosive 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil.

Forbes reported that she had a similar experience to Lil Tay and her account raked in more than $1 million (£823,000) in her first six hours alone.

She went on to land at number 16 on the Top Creators list, with her total earnings for 2021 estimated to be $51 million (£42m).

In a 2023 episode of Barstool Sports’ Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, the host asked her if the people who joined should be in jail, to which she said: “Yeah”.

Amanda Bynes has joined OnlyFans, but she’s clarified exactly what type of content she’ll be posting on the site.

Bynes, 39, took to her Instagram Stories to announce that she had joined the platform, but revealed she had signed up for one specific reason and explained that she won’t be posting ‘sleazy content’.

In case you didn’t know, OnlyFans doesn’t have to be used for sexually explicit content, with users free to post other content, too.

In fact, it has a number of other content creators who do far less X-rated stuff.

Bynes explained she joined the platform to chat with her fans, explaining: “Disclaimer: I’m doing onlyfans to chat with my fans through dm’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content… Excited to join.”

Bynes doesn’t often make an appearance online, so it’s expected the account will be popular with her fans, allowing them to learn more about her life.

You probably remember Bynes from movie hits including Hairspray, She’s The Man, and Easy A.

In the years that followed, however, the star left Hollywood and was placed under a conservatorship by her parents in 2013 following her drug abuse and legal issues, TODAY reports.

Since then, Bynes has kept out of the spotlight. However, in 2014, she graduated from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in merchandise product development and in 2020, she revealed she’d underwent treatment for ‘ongoing mental health issues’.

The star isn’t the only one to be joining OnlyFans for reasons unrelated to sharing NSFW content.

The platform, which currently boasts more than 220 million registered users and over three million registered creators, recently welcomed Harry Potter star Jessie Cave.

Speaking on her Before We Break Up Again podcast, Cave – who starred as Ron Weasley’s love interest, Lavender Brown, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – explained her reasons for signing up, telling listeners: “I’m launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one.

“It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”

She revealed she would be leaning into the ASMR side of things as she will be offering paid subscribers ‘the best quality hair sounds’ and sharing ‘very sensual stuff’.

In case you’re not in the know, ASMR – which stands for ‘Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response’ – refers to a pleasant, tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine some people experience when watching and listening to videos with particular sounds.

Teacher who was fired for being on OnlyFans says she made her entire annual salary in six months

A teacher who was fired for posting raunchy snaps on OnlyFans says she has managed to make her entire annual salary in just six months.

The 41-year-old, who uses the stage name Sarah Juree, was fired from her job after her school became aware of her presence on the adult content site.

Juree’s teaching career was a little less traditional than the usual, with her speaking to students about the different kind of careers they could pursue in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

But while the former teacher has admitted that she was devastated when she was first fired, she certainly makes a bigger fortune on OnlyFans than from teaching.

Despite loving what she did, Juree was struggling financially and knew something had to give.

In an as-told-to article for Insider, she said: “I was juggling five side hustles to try to keep myself afloat financially as a single mom, including teaching group exercise classes, Keto nutrition coaching, tutoring kids, a teeth whitening business, and designing shirts and mugs.

“I would teach all day and then work on one of my side hustles until I went to bed. I felt constantly stretched and overwhelmed with trying so hard that I’d often cry in the bathtub at night.”

Juree said that she decided to venture onto OnlyFans after a friend told her she made $10,000 (£8,450) in single month.

But just days after she posted for the first time, the intimate photos were sent to her employer.

“I was sent a termination letter and my 20-year teaching career – and primary source of income – swiftly ended,” Juree said.

But the OnlyFans model has gone on to earn over $58,000 (£49,000) in the last six months on the adult content site, which is more than the annual salary of $55,000 (£46,480) she made from teaching.

She said: “The most I’ve made in a month is $17,000 [£14,120], which happened right after I got fired. Since I was laid off I’ve made a total of $75,000 [£63,380].

“However, my income fluctuates and I have months ranging from $3,000 [£2,540] to $10,000 [£8,450].

“I’ve still had to work very hard to make that much as it involves a lot of marketing. I promote my OnlyFans page on social media sites like Facebook.”

The former teacher added that to boost her earnings, she leans into a ‘teacher fantasy’ that many of her subscribers seem to have.

“I do this by offering exclusive report cards where I rate their manhood and give ‘Miss Sarah’ stickers to loyal fans,” she said.

“I primarily sell nude photos and explicit videos behind a paywall as well as video chats.”
