The home, perched on a scenic hillside with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, had been in the Bridges family for generations. Initially owned by his parents, the property was passed down to Jeff, his brother Beau Bridges, and their sister.

Milo Ventimiglia, best known for his role in “This Is Us,” faced a deeply personal tragedy when he and his wife were forced to evacuate their Malibu home as fires approached.

The couple then watched in horror as flames engulfed their property via their home’s security cameras. Ventimiglia reflected on the devastation, sharing how the loss hit him on a profound emotional level.

“You start thinking about all the memories in the different parts of the house and whatnot. […] Your heart just breaks,” the actor said

. To make matters even more emotional, the couple is expecting their first child.

They had just finished preparing the nursery for their baby when the fire consumed the house. The loss of their home — and all the items they had lovingly purchased for their baby’s arrival — added another layer of heartbreak.
